FAQ — Moroccan Beldi Black Soap with Licorice (manufacturer)
First, our Moroccan Beldi Black Soap with Licorice is crafted with traditional hammam know-how from olive derivatives. Moreover, its warm, slightly sweet licorice scent turns your shower into a soothing spa moment. Consequently, the beldi paste cleanses deeply and prepares skin for gentle kessa exfoliation. Finally, see our Black Soap Factory for manufacturing details.
What is Licorice Beldi Black Soap?
In short, it’s a plant-based cleansing paste that lifts impurities while supporting natural renewal. In addition, the comforting licorice accord adds a cozy, aromatic finish. Therefore, it suits daily care, at-home rituals, professional spas and private-label retail lines.
How to use it — step by step
- First, warm the skin under lukewarm water for 2–3 minutes to soften it.
- Next, apply a small amount of Licorice Black Soap to damp skin; avoid the eye area.
- Then, leave on for 2–5 minutes; for sensitive skin, reduce to 1–2 minutes.
- Afterwards, rinse thoroughly and exfoliate with a kessa glove using light, upward strokes — see AAD guidance.
For best results, use 1–3 times per week. Alternatively, for a quick daily cleanse, apply, wait briefly and rinse. To finish, follow with ghassoul/rhassoul clay and a few drops of argan oil.
Benefits at a glance
- Deep cleansing: removes buildup during your hammam ritual.
- Gentle exfoliation: primes the skin for comfortable, effective polishing.
- Comfort & softness: the olive base helps reduce post-wash tightness.
- Aromatic cocoon: cozy licorice trail that feels warm, elegant and subtle.
Formats and private-label options
We offer retail sizes (100–750 g) and bulk formats (1–200 kg). In addition, private-label clients can customise artwork, jars, lids and cartons. Finally, compliance documents are available on request (PIF/CPNP or CPSR, COA, MSDS) to support smooth imports — please request a quote.
1) Does it contain real licorice extract?
The standard version uses a licorice fragrance compliant with IFRA. However, we can add Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract on request for private-label projects. As always, advise a patch test before first use.
2) Is it suitable for sensitive skin or for the face?
Yes, but avoid the eye contour. For sensitive skin, shorten contact time to 1–2 minutes and exfoliate gently once a week. Additionally, perform a small patch test beforehand.
3) Typical INCI and “free from”
Typical INCI (may vary by batch or request): Aqua (Water), Potassium Olivate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Glycerin, Parfum (Licorice), Limonene/Linalool (from natural oils). For status, consult the EU CosIng database.
Free from: animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, parabens and SLS/SLES. Therefore, it is vegan friendly.
4) Shelf life, storage, and safety
- Shelf life: typically 24 months unopened; 12 months after opening.
- Storage: keep tightly closed, away from heat and direct light (10–25 °C).
- Safety: external use only; avoid eyes and mucous membranes; keep out of reach of children.
5) Samples, MOQ, and lead time
