FAQ — Moroccan Beldi Black Soap with Ginger (manufacturer)
First, our Moroccan beldi black soap with Ginger is produced with traditional hammam know-how from olive derivatives. Moreover, its warm, spicy ginger note energises the shower and adds a cosy, uplifting aroma. Consequently, the silky paste cleanses deeply, softens the skin and prepares it for gentle kessa-glove exfoliation. Finally, manufacturing details are available on our Black Soap Factory page.
What makes Ginger Black Soap special?
In short, ginger brings a comforting, spicy scent that feels invigorating in steam. In addition, the olive-based gel respects the skin barrier while lifting impurities. Therefore, it suits daily care at home as well as professional hammam rituals and private-label lines.
How to use it — hammam ritual (step by step)
- First, shower with warm water for 2–3 minutes to soften the skin and open pores.
- Next, apply a small amount of Ginger Black Soap to damp skin (avoid the eye area).
- Then, leave for 2–5 minutes; for sensitive skin, limit contact to 1–2 minutes.
- Afterwards, rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Finally, exfoliate with a kessa glove using light, upward strokes — see AAD guidance on exfoliation.
For best results, use 1–3× per week. Alternatively, for a quick daily cleanse, apply, wait briefly and rinse. To finish, follow with ghassoul/rhassoul clay and a few drops of argan oil.

1) Is the ginger natural? Does it heat the skin?
Usually yes, the scent comes from ginger fragrance or Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil. Accordingly, a mild warming sensation is normal; however, discontinue use if irritation occurs.
2) Is it suitable for the face and for sensitive skin?
Yes, but avoid the eye contour. Additionally, shorten contact time (1–2 minutes) for sensitive skin and exfoliate gently once a week. Finally, always patch-test before first use.
3) Typical INCI and “free from”
Typical INCI (may vary by batch or fragrance): Aqua (Water), Potassium Olivate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Glycerin, Parfum (Ginger) or Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, Limonene/Linalool (from natural oils). For status, consult the EU CosIng database.
Free from: animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, parabens and SLS/SLES. Therefore, it is vegan friendly.
