FAQ — Black Soap Factory (manufacturer)
To begin with, our Black Soap Factory produces authentic Moroccan beldi black soap from olive derivatives. For this edition, we add a bergamot scent that smells bright and citrusy. Consequently, the paste delivers deep cleansing, while the refreshing aroma turns your hammam routine into a spa moment. Moreover, the creamy texture prepares the skin for a gentle kessa-glove exfoliation.
What is your bergamot-scented beldi black soap?
In short, it is a plant-based paste that lifts impurities and supports natural renewal. Additionally, the bergamot note gives a clean, uplifting finish without coloring the skin. Therefore, it fits daily care, at-home rituals, spa menus, and retail lines alike. For factory insights, see our Black Soap Factory page.
How to use it — step by step
- First, warm the skin under lukewarm water for 2–3 minutes to soften it and open pores.
- Next, apply a small amount of bergamot black soap to damp skin; avoid the eye area.
- Then, leave on for 2–5 minutes (1–2 minutes for sensitive skin).
- Afterwards, rinse thoroughly and exfoliate with a kessa glove using light, circular strokes.
As a result, the skin feels clean, smooth, and comfortable. In addition, regular weekly use visibly improves radiance and softness.
Benefits at a glance
- Deep cleansing: removes buildup; consequently, texture looks clearer.
- Gentle exfoliation: supports turnover; moreover, the complexion appears refined.
- Comfort after rinse: the olive-oil base helps reduce tightness and dryness.
- Fresh citrus scent: the bergamot fragrance adds an energising, spa-like touch.
Formats and private-label options
For convenience, we offer retail sizes (100–750 g) and, furthermore, bulk formats (1–200 kg) for spas and wholesalers. In particular, private-label clients can customise artwork, jars, lids, and cartons; similarly, we supply compliance documents on request (PIF/CPNP or CPSR, COA, MSDS). Therefore, procurement remains simple and scalable across ranges.
1) Will bergamot stain skin or fabrics?
No. The paste is naturally dark, yet it does not stain the skin when used and rinsed as directed. Nevertheless, avoid contact with light fabrics or porous surfaces before rinsing, and rinse tools/tiles after use.
2) Is it suitable for the face and for sensitive skin?
Yes, but avoid the eye contour. For sensitive skin, shorten contact time to 1–2 minutes and exfoliate gently once a week. In addition, perform a small patch test prior to first use. If you prefer a milder option, ask us about fragrance-free batches.
3) What is the typical INCI and what is it free from?
Typical INCI (may vary by batch or request): Aqua (Water), Potassium Olivate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Glycerin, Parfum (Bergamot), Limonene/Linalool (from natural oils).
Free from: animal-derived ingredients, mineral oil, parabens, and SLS/SLES. Vegan friendly. For ingredient status, check the EU CosIng database.
4) Samples, MOQ, and shipping
Samples are available; typically, new customers pay only the courier fee, which we deduct from the first official order. You can arrange a remote pickup (RPI) via FedEx, UPS, DHL or TNT. Alternatively, we can book shipping for you. Need help now? Contact us.
