FAQ — Coconut (Cocos nucifera) Vegetable Oil (manufacturer)
First, our Coconut Oil (cosmetic grade) is a refined/deodorized carrier from the pulp of Cocos nucifera, prized for its creamy glide and comforting after-feel. Moreover, its medium-chain fatty acids (lauric, caprylic, capric) with natural tocopherols make it ideal for balms, body butters, scalp masks, massage blends and spa rituals. Consequently, it spreads easily, melts on contact (~22–26 °C), and leaves a soft, satiny finish. Finally, explore our full Vegetable Oils collection.
What makes coconut oil different?
In short, its solid-at-room-temperature texture builds stable balms and whipped butters with excellent slip. In addition, the lauric-rich profile is appreciated for cleansing balms, makeup removal oils and hair masks. Therefore, it suits body care, dry hair lengths and spa treatments year-round.
How to use it — skin, hair & massage (step by step)
- First, if solid, warm a small amount between palms until it melts.
- Next, apply to body, dry hair lengths or scalp as needed (avoid the eye area).
- Then, massage with upward strokes; for hair, smooth from mid-lengths to ends.
- Afterwards, leave as an occlusive body balm or rinse after 30–60 minutes as a pre-shampoo mask.
- Finally, when blending with essential oils, keep dermal levels low and patch-test first.
- Optionally, combine with liquid carriers (e.g., jojoba, sunflower) to soften texture and absorption.
Additionally, use 1–3× per week on hair; alternatively, mix a pea-size into your body cream for extra comfort. For procurement, you can request a quote.

1) What is the typical INCI and the texture?
Typical INCI: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil. Texture: solid below ~22–25 °C, semi-solid around room temperature, fully liquid when gently warmed. Aroma: very low (refined); characteristic coconut note (virgin).
2) Is it suitable for face and sensitive skin?
Generally yes, especially for body care and dry areas; additionally, always patch-test first and use sparingly on very oily or breakout-prone zones to keep the finish lightweight.
3) Stability & crystallization
Because of its melting range (≈22–26 °C), the oil may solidify or grain at cooler temps. Accordingly, store between 15–25 °C, protect from heat/light, and close tightly; add tocopherol in formulas as desired.
4) Shelf life, storage, and safety
- Shelf life: typically 24 months unopened; 12 months after opening.
- Storage: keep well closed, away from heat and light (15–25 °C).
- Safety: for external use only; avoid eyes and mucous membranes; keep out of children’s reach.
5) MOQ, lead time, and paperwork
- MOQ (private label): from 500 pcs (varies with pack size and printing method).
- Lead time: usually 10–25 working days after artwork approval and payment terms.
- Docs: PIF/CPNP (EU) or CPSR, COA, MSDS, label review; barcodes and artwork templates available.
